You created every part of me; you put me together in my mother’s womb. Psalm 139:13 (GNT)
Anytime the womb is mentioned, one immediately associate this with babies, who are recognised as fruit of the womb. The psalmist alluded to this when he stated about God, “You put me together in my mother’s womb” (Psalm 139:13b) It is important to acknowledge the creative wonder that takes place in the womb and the joy that this brings human kind. This creative process aligns with the definition of fruit i.e “Whatever is produced for the nourishment or enjoyment of man or animals” Therefore the “fruit of the womb” produces nourishment or enjoyment to humankind and animals.
The acronym W.O.M.B describes the Workshop Of Miraculous Births. This workshop is not limited to the female reproductive organ. It encompasses every part of the body. The brain is a creative workshop so are other parts of the body e.g. hands and feet. Just as you can number the babies that come from the womb you can also number the “babies” being produced by your brains, hands and feet. Let us review some biblical examples – Sarah produced Isaac (Genesis 21:3) and Elisabeth brought forth John the Baptist (Luke 1:57,60) the forerunner to Jesus as products of their wombs
Joseph brought salvation to the world by managing the world’s first food shortage (Genesis 50:20) whilst Jacob became the first genetic engineer by breeding speckled and spotted animals from pure breed (Genesis 30:32-33). These bore fruits of the brains through innovation and inventions. Bezaleel and Ahiolab (Exodus 31:7) built the tabernacle to the specification given by God to Moses bearing fruits of their hands. In present day, the hand can create paintings, fashion designs, cakes and the legs can engage in football, athletes dancing.
Consider your ways and be encouraged. Tap into your creativity by entering into your WOMB, the workshop of miraculous births to create intricate forms which no eye, no ear nor mind has ever conceived to bring nourishment and enjoyment to human kind. Amen.
