Truth stands the test of time; lies are soon exposed
Proverbs 12:19 TLB

Hmmm! Should I lead life in truth or as a liar? Truth as word and lifestyle seems “strange” in today’s world and anyone who walks by the truth is perceived as weak, but truth is ever powerful. Never despise the truth by succumbing to popular themes of society. Truth like a river appears weak. Falsehood like a rock in the path of a river appears strong and immovable, however with time the seemingly weak river ebbs away the solid rock and it is no more. So is truth, it’s power continuously ebbs away falsehood and with time what appeared strong no longer have support and it’s no more.

What is your position in life? Are you walking in truth or in lies to sure up your status? T.R.U.T.H, I defined as Trusting Relationships Underpinned by Testimonies from Heaven. It is the Spirit of truth that guides into all truths and shows the things that are to happen in the future. Are your relationships underpinned by testimonies from heaven or buttressed by man’s testimonies? Man has relative truth. It is only God who has absolute truth (Gandhi). Jesus stated, “I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life” No one has ever called him or herself “THE TRUTH” except Jesus.

In the face of adversity be anchored to the truth as this is the only way to maintain your integrity. Integrity sustained by the truth has the potential to heal and bring life. Jesus (The Truth) states, “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10b”) contrasting this to the thief who comes only to steal, kill and destroy John 10:10a. Lies and falsehood perpetuates strife, destruction, and disunity to which the Lord frustrates their devices so that they do not achieve any success. (Job 5:12). In contrast, for those who walk in truth, He declares, “You will decide on a matter, and it will be established for you, and light will shine on your ways. Job 22:28”

Walk in truth as the family of Hillsborough disaster did and the falsehood will crumble.Resolve to trust and be transformed by the truth and declare as Job did, “Though he slay me, I will hope in him; (Job 13:15). This is the PARADOX OF TRUTH even though you appear weak you are the strongest.

Amen.
