This is what the Lord says, “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord. Jeremiah 17:5 (NIV)

The word tells us “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). However we find ourselves either being told or use phrases like, It cant be done, It has never been tried before, it is impossible, where will we get the finance for the project, I do not have the right connections, I don’t have the right qualifications I am not of the right size or color. Do not place such limits on your destiny? Your understanding of the limitations may dampen your hopes but the above quote “Linking Intimately with Man instead of Integrating with the Truth” has the potential of raising hopes more so if you are able to link to the truth.

Let us look at people who did not link to man but linked to the truth; Jacob looked to the truth and became the first genetic engineer (Genesis 30:31-43) Ruth looked to the truth and produced the genealogy of Jesus (Ruth 4:13-15) Blind Bartimaeus ignored the shouts of men and gained his sight (Mark 10:46-52) Short Zacchaeus did not look at his stature, sought the truth and he gained salvation (Luke 19:1-10)

Anytime your focus on man you will miss out on the provision of God. When you come to God, you must Believe that He is a rewarded to them that diligently seek Him: not those who seek man. Jeremiah said this about those ho sought after man, it is a curse to trust in man and you will dwell in the patch places in the desert. Resolve to be steadfast in the Lord. Do not lean on your own understanding but rather acknowledge Him always, both in good times or the bad times. Declare as Job did, “Though He slay me yet will I trust in Him. Finally take off those limits and venture into your destiny with the possibilities of God. Amen
