”Oh! how wretched is humankind, not knowing his or her true potential. We sit around pity parties lamenting our inabilities rather than looking at our true abilities the creator deposited in us. He said, “Let us make humankind in our image…..let them have dominion over..”(Genesis 1:26). We wake each day with great ideas but for some reason we give up. We then start another without fulfilling any of the great ideas.
The late Myles Munro said the greatest wealth is at the cemeteries where unfulfilled ideas remain buried.
The major reason for such failures is DOUBT. It is true that new ideas face obstacles in their implementation such as laws of the land or lack of finance to make a start. Let’s look at the acronym D.O.U.B.T which can help transform your present way of thinking giving you the confidence needed to accomplish purpose. D.O.U.B.T is Disobeying the Omnipotent through Unbelief and Belittling Truth.
Now, when you doubt, you disobey the omnipotent who planted the idea in the recesses of your mind. Your disobedience results from a position of unbelief. This position makes you belittle the truth, that is “the word cannot become tangible experience” Doubt limits and creates mediocrity. Doubt poisons the mind leading ultimately to failure.
The Creator has given humankind power to do all things but we have to make the choice to use this power. He said, Come and let us reason together…….If you are willing and obedient you will have the best of the land (Isaiah 1:18-19) and again, “Just ask and it will be given to you; seek after it and you will find. Continue to knock and the door will be opened for you” (Matthew 7:7). Belief is therefore a choice you must make. Belief in the truth is the foundation for excellence. Belief creates and expands future horizons. Empowering your belief to unlock the door to excellence as your product is guided by the creator.
Abraham believed in God and had a child when it was physiologically impossible. Apostle Paul believed in the truth and survived the shipwreck and the bite of a venomous viper. Again physiologically impossible. As such the people of Malta were waiting for him to drop dead but he did not (Acts 28:1-5). Belief in His word has power beyond the physical realm. Do not doubt. Anytime doubt visits after you have an instruction, tell doubt, “I have created a new environment called BELIEF and I will be-living in the truth I know”. Amen
