A kind man does his own soul good, but a cruel man harms his own flesh.
Proverbs 11:17
Your ability to say sorry and to be kind and affectionate derives from the love of God. Saying sorrow and being kind to one another is divine. These actions promote growth whilst eliminating stagnation as Solomon declared, kind words are like honey— sweet to the soul and healthy for the body. (Proverb 16:24)
The dictionary defines kind as, showing tenderness or goodness; being averse to hurting. The acronym K.I.N.D is implementing Kingdom’s Instructions when Nurturing Destinies. Being kind therefore means you must be familiar with the Kingdom’s Instruction and be prepared to Nurture Destines with these. Let us look at a few of these kingdom instructions If you love me you will obey my instructions (John 14:23): are you? If you do you will be nurturing people by, loving your neighbours as yourself (Mark 12:31). Are you?
Going into the world and making disciples (Matthew 28:19). Are you?
You will be having “Mountain” moving faith actions (Mark 11:23): Are you demonstrating such faith? You will be forgiving, if your brother offended you seven times in a day and repents (Luke 17:2-3). Are you?
All these will be easy if you acknowledge that he is with you always (Matthew 28:20). Do you acknowledge His presence always?
Let us fully obey His instructions and love our neighbours as ourselves. Truly If we are to love our neighbour as ourself we will be K.I.N.D enough to share the good news of the gospel with them. Let us start acknowledging His presence and power with us always and as we do, we will not be afraid of any “mountains” rather we would have the boldness to declare to the “mountain” be removed and it will. What impediments are you experiencing? Believe that with God you will accomplish your purpose regardless of any impediments. However it is important to forgive whoever has offended you and has asked to be pardoned as failure to do this becomes a major blockage to the flow of God’s power and provision.
Resolve to be kind to one another for this will be “like honey, sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.’ (Proverb 16:24). Amen
