And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its
seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons
from every tribe and language and people and nation.
It is the time of year when we celebrate Easter, marking the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. One of the important feature of this date is the shed BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST. The divine blood and its power being made available to all who will believe. The scriptures declare in Hebrews 9:13 14, “The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!” What an interesting discourse. The blood of goats and bulls could make those who are ceremonially unclean, clean, then how much more the divine blood of our Lord Jesus Christ?
Surrogacy is what Mary entered into when she was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit. The baby Jesus is genetically divine and therefore everything about him is divine and eternal. The blood of Jesus never clots and this is the reason for the bible stating, “But he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption“ Hebrews 9:12. When you access the blood, the only insurance that one benefits from both here on earth and in heaven after death. The blood identifies you with the Kingdom of God and all the heavenly host are on your side. That is why the Lord declared, No weapon that has been made to be used against you will succeed. You will have an answer for anyone who accuses you. This is the inheritance of the Lordʼs servants. Their victory comes from me,” Isaiah 54:17. The blood gives access to the throne of grace where you we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
The blood forms a barrier to all forms of offenses as the scriptures declare, “When I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt” (Exodus 12:13) The blood purifies us as the word declares, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin (1 John 1:7) Remember these benefits as you celebrate Easter. May His blood bless you and keep you in His purpose
