That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; Philippians 2:10

NAME gives identity and function. You have a name given by your parents. You may have another which identifies your profession or given to you by society. Each of these may place you in a position of authority or as a subordinate. Whatever names and titles you may have, there is a name whose qualities supersede all other names. This Nominated Authority Manifesting on Earth, is Jesus Christ.

There is a name to every person, position, plan or problem. This may have either a positive or negative influence on your destiny. However, which ever direction the “name” points you to, it is still under the subjection of the nominated authority, Jesus Christ. Rejoice, if you have the privilege of calling on the name of Jesus Christ because you can ask anything in His name and the Father will grant it according to His will. In His name you have access to the Holy Spirit (John 16:13).

Be encouraged at the power in the name of Jesus as this power is through inheritance, “So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs ( H e b r e w s 2 : 4 ) , t h r o u g h conquest, “And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15) and finally, power was conferred to Him after His resurrection, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me (Matthew 28:18).What have you embarked on in the name of Jesus? Are you facing difficulties with the situation or with persons? Whatever that difficulty may be, it has a name. The name of the difficulty has to succumb to the Nominated Authority Manifesting on Earth, Jesus.

Call upon the name of Jesus as this has power to change situations for good. Like the woman with the issue of blood, and the woman at the well who called on the name of Jesus and had their situations changed, as you call on the name of Jesus, He will change your present predicament into a precious position so keep calling on that name as it has the power to sustain you.
